What Is The Kindness Garden?
We believe a single kind word at the right moment can open hearts.
At Surf the Earth Mental Health Community, our mission is simple: spread kindness and shred the stigma around mental health — one act of kindness at a time. Asking for help is brave!
The Kindness Garden is a new project and will become an outdoor space at the Boyne District Library in Boyne City, Michigan.
Every rock in the garden carries a hand-painted message — created by real people in our community.
The garden will also feature local art, sculptures, murals, signs, and kindness messaging that reflects the heart of our Northern Michigan community.
This is a big dream. We are building it in phases — with community hands, community hearts, and community voices shaping every step.
Because mental health affects all of us. Kindness is something we can all give.
