Come Paint Kindness With Us at Stroll the Streets! 🪨 Help us Spread Kindness!!

We're so excited to be part of the Stroll the Streets Kickoff at the Boyne District Library — and we'd love for you to join us at our rock-painting table.

Here's how it works: bring your own rocks (we'll have some on hand too, just in case) and we'll provide the paint, brushes, and inspiration. Paint as many as you like — take some with you to keep or give to a friend, and leave some with us for the Community Kindness Garden coming soon to the Boyne District Library.

Every rock becomes a small message of hope for whoever finds it: you matter, you are loved, you are not alone. In the words of The Kindness Rocks Project®, "One message at just the right moment can change someone's entire day, outlook, or life."

Kiersten’s Ride with provide a safeTALK - a half-day training in suicide alertness during our Shred the Stigma event on Sunday, April 12, 2026.

Half-day safeTALK training at the Civic Center at Boyne Mountain (Arlberg Room), 1 Boyne Mountain Rd, Boyne Falls, MI 49713. *This training is being hosted in cooperation with Surf the Earth Mental Health Community, Shred the Stigma.

There is a $25 (plus fees) deposit REQUIRED to save your seat. **A full refund (minus fees) will be processed only after attending the training... unless you prefer to pay-it-forward. Though this training is valued at $50, cost is supplemented by the following sponsors: Kiersten's Ride.

safeTALK helps participants become alert to suicide. Suicide-alert people are better prepared to connect persons with thoughts of suicide with life-affirming help.

Over the course of their training, safeTALK participants will learn to:

• Notice and respond to situations where suicide thoughts may be present,

• Recognize that invitations for help are often overlooked,

• Move beyond the common tendency to miss, dismiss, and avoid suicide,

• Apply the TALK steps: Tell, Ask, Listen, KeepSafe, and

• Know community resources and how to connect someone with thoughts of suicide to them for further suicide-safer help

This training is for anyone 15 years old or older. However, for attendees 15-17 years old, we will ensure a parent/guardian is aware of participation.

* This course is approved by MDHHS Peer Support for 3.5 hours of Continuing Education credits.

Other CEUs can be earned thru https://www.ceunits.com/livingworks/. The cost for the CEUs is $5 per credit hour, but you will not be charged until you pass the exam and download your certificate.

**Cancellation Policy:
If cancellation is received by Kiersten's Ride via email more than 7 days prior to the start date of the training; the course fee will be refunded, less a $5 non-refundable administration fee.

If cancellation is received by Kiersten's Ride via email within 7 days of the start date of the training or there is a NO SHOW the day of training, the course fee will not be refunded.
