Kindness Rocks for Hope — 988 Day

September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, and Tuesday, September 8th is 988 Day — a nationwide moment to spread the word about 988, the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Just like 911 connects you to emergency help, 988 connects you (by call or text, 24/7) to a trained crisis counselor who's there to listen, no matter what you're going through.

Stop by our table and paint a Kindness Rock with a message of hope, encouragement, or support. Once painted, the rocks will be placed around campus and the community — small, unexpected reminders that someone cares and that help is always available. Sometimes the words on a rock someone finds on a hard day are exactly what they needed to hear.

We're proud to be joined by Kiersten's Ride and Breanna's Ride as part of this event, standing together to raise awareness and keep the conversation about mental health and suicide prevention going.
